The Mandrix Revolutions

I’m currently in the process of moving and I think I’m going to miss these guys from my apartment. These are green monk parakeets. They are an invasive species but they are so darn cute and they make huge and beautiful communal nest in the palm trees.

I always love the spiral that forms their entrance. They are quite loud and active during the afternoon and early morning.

They fly in groups sometimes which is the cutest thing when they come sweeping in between the buildings.

They have a beautiful white underbelly that compliments their green coat.
